Hi, I'm Kavitha — and I started teaching children 30 years ago.
During my college years, local school teachers would quietly send me their students — children who were bright but switched off, or hardworking but not getting the results they deserved. At the time I just loved being with them and teaching came naturally to me. I didn't think of it as anything special.
Looking back now, I realise those teachers were seeing something before I did. They trusted me with children who needed a different approach. And somehow, that different approach always worked.
It took me years to understand why. In 2007, a trainer's workshop introduced me to the VAK learning styles framework — Visual, Auditory, Kinaesthetic. And then as part of my NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) certification in 2010, I formallly learned how the gap can be bridged. It stopped me in my tracks. The children I had been helping all those years? I had been instinctively matching my teaching to how each of them learned. That's why it worked. Now I had the science to prove it.
That was the moment EvolvED Learn was born in my head. It just took a few more years — and a full career — to bring it to life.
Two decades of leadership. One lifelong passion.
I'm an academically strong person — always have been. But as a child I was also shy and nervous. Confidence found me later, through an MBA in HR and a long career in senior leadership roles across India's technology sector.
I've coached executives, built high-performing teams, and an edtech product. I understand how online education works from the inside out.
Through all of it, I never stopped teaching children. It was always there — running quietly alongside everything else.
